Global Power Finance is a division of Caterpillar Financial dedicated to project and retail financing for power-related applications using Caterpillar engines -- Marine, Petroleum and Electric Power Generation. The Business Development group supports Global Power Finance with marketing, new product introduction, 6 Sigma, market and industry analysis, and communications. The successful candidate would be expected to accomplish the following during the course of the summer:

1) Expand the Industry Segment Analysis used by Marine to EPG and Petroleum
2) Update Marketing Materials -- especially EPG and Petroleum so they can be used globally
3) Update of the GPF Intranet and Caterpillar Website
4) Implement the Visual Management monitors in each office globally
5) Update the GPF Resource Library with recent materials, projects, presentations, etc.

The contract employee will be based in Nashville and will work closely with the Business Development Representative, also located in Nashville. He/she will report to the Business Development Manager, located in Houston.

Required skills:
Knowledge of basic finance and business principles
Knowledge of and the ability to analyze various data to be used and presented to various groups
Ability to adapt and incorporate information from multiple sources
Ability to clearly articulate concepts and communicate effectively
Strong skills with Microsoft Office products: Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Although not required, basic web design skills would be helpful.
