About Us

IABC Nashville members enjoy networking opportunities each month through professional development luncheons and more informal social "mixers" held several times a year. Our chapter is diverse, with members representing area agencies, broadcast stations, corporations, universities, and nonprofit organizations. Monthly luncheons feature guest speakers offering professional development opportunities are now held on the second Wednesday of each month at Amerigo on West End Avenue.

Our mission is to provide learning opportunities for our members through monthly professional development luncheons featuring communication experts from the Nashville metropolitan area and throughout middle Tennessee and southern Kentucky. These professional development sessions provide our members with new insights into the latest communication trends and issues facing the industry. Our goal is to help our members achieve their own objectives whether its strengthening their current duties and responsibilities, career advancement, exposure to new concepts and media, keeping up with the latest technology, or establishing a valuable network of professional communication contacts.

Additionally, IABC Nashville offers a job bank service, collegiate student scholarships, a student career night, and also provides our annual communication awards competition, the Gold Pen.
